a few of you might have noticed this going on in the background but to all of those who were unaware:
had some free time lately and on a whim i’ve been working on color pages, so now you can see Lese smile and Lain not smile in infinitely more saturation than previously. chapter 1 of Big Men (pages 597- 647) is now in full color. at the moment there will be a section in the middle of the part that is B&W, and color will resume on page 717ish due to backlog funsies.
I think I came up with a system I’m happy with that allows conversion from the B&W drawings without too much hassle. but still, drawing pages already takes a hot minute to complete, and coloring on top of that takes an even hotter minute. for this reason I refrain from making any specific commitments, but know that for the moment color is on my mind.
